Have a full list of coaching apps:Meet Mobile: This is great for any swimmer involved in competitive swimming. It’s not limited to USA/YMCA swimming, so it can be used on various platforms for example summer league and events like school meets. As I’m sure we all know by now, a swimmer's time is of the essence and it is the measuring stick of every swimmer in competitive swimming programs. This app is great because it allows you to access times pretty soon after the event and see up to date times during a meet. It also keeps track of your best times and personal records and allows you to compare your times from prior meets to current meet times. You get access to times following the meet!
Deck Pass/Deck Pass Plus- Apps are designed specifically for USA swimmers and coaches. With this app, coaches can track times and access team rosters and it allows you to compare times over the latest meets. The Deck Pass also allows you to encourage swimmers by providing patches of encouragement or congratulations. Building a community spirit is important for team swimming, and so that is why I like it.
Coach’s Eye- Is great for taping my clients! It’ s very helpful for stroke modifications. It allows you to tape a swimmer and then you can add edits to the video to help point out areas for improvement for your client. I always talk about how much swimming is based on feeling because we can't really see ourselves swim, but this app will give you a chance to see yourself swim and make adjustments as needed.
I don't coach for YMCA so I don't have any information on that!
