What does a Swim Coach Eat for Breakfast?
I hope everyone is doing well! I get questions about what my diet looks like! i will be honest with you all because I am in the pool consistently around six to eight hours a day during the peak of summer, I tend to try to eat a fair amount. I don’t really try to completely cut out stuff but I try to limit what I can have for example fried food, food, or drinks that are super high in sugar and trying to have a low intake of dairy heavy foods (because my skin doesn’t do well with dairy.
Watermelon is a food, that I reach for quite often.. it is very hydrating and is very easy to digest plus it has a lot of healthy sugars that make it taste good. i sometimes pack a cup or two in my hydro flask and save it as a snack to eat in between clients. ant way I try to not regret what I eat because I need to feel good all day.
Sometimes I have bagels for breakfast because they fill you up. i usually put peanut butter on them. These are super easy options to make when you’re on the go like me during this time. these fill you up without slowing you down.
